Game Recap & Update

The Freedom jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead on TD's from Harvey and Reese. By halftime Marion had whittled the lead down to four. Justin Hoover got the second half started by connecting on his second FG of the game. Marion then scored a TD to tie up the game. Rocky Harvey went back to work to get his second rushing TD of the night to break the tie and the Freedom would lead for the rest of the game. The fourth quarter saw Taylor run in two TDs while Reese pulled in his second of the night.

This Friday night the Freedom (3-3) will travel to Troy, OH to take on the Miami Valley Silverbacks (2-5). Miami Valley escaped with a one-point victory over the Milwaukee Bonecrushers this past weekend. The two teams first met when the Silverbacks traveled to Ft. Wayne on March 21 as the Freedom kicked off their regular season. The Freedom won that meeting 52-28.
